| Ted Mini Editorial: If your city water or electric meter is many years old (and likely "slowed" by age/rust/etc...) you may see the cost of your utility service increase (with no change in usage) when the new meters are installed. I only mention this to help you be less surprised as I was when my electric meter was upgraded in just this last year at the museum downtown. Tulsa County Commissioner John Smaligo announced that a plan is in the works to eventually move the (recently improved) 12th Street railroad crossing further north to more closely match the now blocked path of 136th Street North. Smaligo said the county is hoping for grants to help fund the project to improve traffic flow with a direct 136th Street connection.
