The
Friday Homecoming parade route will begin at 13th & Main street
because of construction around 14th and Main. The line-up will still
be in the City Park but will be diverted to 13th street once the
line starts moving. The road inside the park will be a one-way street
once the line-up begins at 2:30. You will need to enter the park
from the north or west entrances and exit to the east. No one will
be allowed to enter from the east entrance. Also remember there
will be no throwing of candy or any other item in the parade. Please
do not bring candy to the parade line-up or your float will not
be allowed to participate. Policemen will be at the parade line-up
to enforce this rule. This is for the safety of the parade spectators
so please abide. -- Missy DeLozier (10/10/2011) |
