CHS Basketball -vs Grove
Photos For CHS Boys Only
All Four Collinsville Teams Won Here Tuesday
Note: I finally had my first 2014-15 opportunity to cover CHS wrestling here Tuesday so I didn't arrive at basketball until after 3 wrestling duals (District Quad at the middle school) had completed and I had my camera emptied of wrestling photos. And wrestling started an hour later than advertised since Tulsa Public Schools wouldn't let their 3 teams out to meet the original 4pm start (3pm weigh-in). So I only have photos for the varsity boys basketball Jan. 13th. -- Ted Wright
Mallory Vaughn scored 27 points in a 70-32 varsity victory over Grove's Girls.
Madie Vaughn added 10 points with Jefferson & O'Dell adding 8 each.
The CHS boys led 30-17 at the half and 45-34 after three quarters. Grove got within 5 points at 50-45 with 4:45 left in the game but the Cardinals pulled away for a 64-47 final (with a 14-2 run). Austin Archer led the boys with 21 points.
Collinsville's Pack 53 Scouts were guests of the CHS Cardinal Boys Basketball team Jan. 13th.
