| Sidewalk sawcuts might begin as early as next Tuesday (March 4th) on the Main Street Beautification (TEA-21) project on 2 blocks of Main Street. The initial work will be done by city crews prior to the contractor's work which begins in April. Only the portions of sidewalk needed for utility work will be removed initially and access to store fronts will be maintained with the possible exception of 1-2 days when the new sidewalk is poured later on. | Volunteer Brush Collection Postponed ... too muddy for lots of trailers at brush pit following Thursday's snow. The city has decided (Friday afternoon) to cancel the Feb. 2nd individual brush volunteer effort and tentatively try again for the following Saturday (Feb. 9th).
