Newspapers Unpaid Week Announced -- According
To Tulsa World 4/29/2009 -- and also in the local Collinsville News with same

cvilleok.com web site (the newspaper's competitor) has also seen a revenue decrease
this past year but going for a week with no paycheck is not an unusual experience

I will be re-evaluating the approach for next year as the massive task has grown
each year while the ad support has not kept pace. -- Ted Wright 4/29/2009 |

Letter
To The Editor: The Post Office requires every new house occupant to move their
mailbox next to the street for the convenience of the carriers. But the bureaucrats
at our local Post Office actually does the opposite making it MORE difficult for
the people who pay their salaries? Another example of government compared to private
business. Thanks, Rick Clark. (4/29/2009) [Ted Note:
While I personally agree with this letter, I did want to add that my issues are
with PO management as I have an enormous amount of respect for the carriers and
the daily task they face. -- Ted Wright] -- Ted please allow me to say
"me too" regarding the everyday local rank & file postal employees.
Some of them are long time friends. Like yourself it is management I have issues
with. By the way the local post office number is 371-6528 if fellow citizens would
like to share their opinion with our local postmaster. Thanks again, Rick Clark.

| In
a city seeking to "improve", the relocation of the mail drop off box
