[6/28 update: We found Obi...unfortunately he had fallen in our neighbor's pond, and drown.] -- MISSING: English Bulldog. Goes by the name Obi. Is mostly blind and deaf, very old. Newson6 election results indicate Stan Sallee came up just short in his bid for the state house district 36 Republican seat with Sean Roberts collecting 1036 votes to Sallee's 921 votes (Paul Nosak received 90 votes). The Collinsville School Board approved the purchase of the church property just north of the football field for $315,000 at their June 25th, 2012 meeting. The school administration offices (ESC) will be relocated there by late October if all goes according to plan. The current ESC location (leased from Bank of the Lakes since 1993 starting with just 5 people) has been out-grown with 13 school employees. The gymnasium and additional parking adjacent to Sallee Field are additional advantages. The former Miracles of Faith Church at 19th and Maple location combined with Into All The World Church and is now Current Church on the east side of Collinsville.

Vote (Tuesday June 26) if you are supposed to?... mostly Republican primary ... but Rogers County apparently has a sales tax issue also. -- Ted -- 6/25/2012

Note: The School Board will meet Monday June 25th in a special session (7pm). Has a bunch of replacement hires and two new resignations: Lesa Lafferty (1st grade Wilson) and Cory Loghry (HS Math) -- Ted 1:15am 6/25/2012 ... and I've made pretty good progress salvaging data from the old school web site this past week, so I'm less nervous, but still not finished. I'm doing some trial and error formats on the new version but it will be a work in progress for weeks to get back what was there ... then start on some new concepts. . -- Ted
