Contact Info Update for Ted Wright: (Other than email) the phone at the Newspaper Museum 918-371-1901 is still the best way to reach me (or leave a message). I have turned off my home phone and will be carrying my daughter Emily's (Florida) cell phone for the next year (305-815-4467). So if you are in a big hurry to contact me when I am away from the office and willing to make a long-distance call, use that cell number. It is a bit ackward having an out-of-state cell but will finish out Emily's Florida contract and has a good international plan so I can keep in touch with her. She arrived in Australia this weekend for her graduate work at James Cook University. -- Ted -- Monday July 23, 2007

Mini Editorial -- Although this may create a good back to school clothes and footware buying opportunity for some ... it follows the typical lawmaker's approach to create favored status and exceptions instead of making a simple rule that treated all (buyers, products and businesses) equally. -- Ted Wright -- July 21, 2007 (e.g. about the only thing I "need" is a pair of tennis shoes ... but I can't tell where that falls in the following execption: "This does not apply to the sale of any accessories, special clothing or footwear primarily designed for athletic activity or protective use that is not normally worn except when used for athletic activity or protective use, or to the rental of clothing or footwear.")

The Dallas Mustangs and the Santa Fe Rockhounds were playing Saturday afternoon in the Collinsville hosted U14 baseball regional. The Collinsville team was eliminated Friday night (July 20th).
