twin engine airplane was reported down east of Sheridan and south of 116th St.
North about 11:45am Sunday 9/28. I wasn't allowed in the crash area and have no

Wright, The seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams went to the Catoosa Tourn.
yesterday (Monday). The seventh graders won the tournament beating Catoosa in
the finals 27-29, 26-24 & 16-14 and now have an 11-3 record. The eighth graders

in the Coweta Tournament, the varsity volleyball team beat Tahlequah Sequoyah,
Tahlequah, and Tulsa East Central to advance to Saturday's bracket play seeded

Update: The volleyball team lost in the semi-finals of the
Coweta Tournament to Coweta. We ended up as the third place team. The girls played
very well this past weekend. Kelsi West made the all-tournament team, and Shelby

help us alert the downtown merchants that the striping in the parking areas
will be done Tuesday, September 23. We would ask the merchants and their customers
to avoid parking in these areas beginning early Tuesday morning. We once again

delayed their action on Tulsa Bus Route. -- The Collinsville city commission
also delayed action at their 9/15 meet knowing Owasso's result. More than $11,000/yr
would be Collinsville's subsidy for the commuter service. Owasso's share would

Monday, Sept. 15th ODOT will be here to mill the parking areas and then
Tuesday, Sept 16th will lay asphalt. Could you please put something on your site
to ask people to please not park in the two block area of Main Street those two
days. Of course, if it is raining they will not do the work so people can park
as usual. The two block areas are where they have put new curbs between 10th &

former Collinsville fire truck (now a memorial to the firefighters that died in
the New York 9/11/2001 attacks) was sitting in the Collinsville city plaza Thursday
for a 5:30pm ceremony. An Oklahoma Centennial bench (& several other benches)
were also in place Thursday for the first time. ... I just now have all my JrHi
football photos unloaded and will put a temporary
page with selected photos online tonight (at 11:45pm Thurs) and will start

I
just found out that there will be a ceremony tomorrow at 5:30 on the square honoring
the firefighters that died on 9/11. Their names were airbrushed on the fire truck
that the Collinsville Fire Department donated and it will eventually be making
it's way to New York. The Mayor will be saying a few words and the fire truck
will be out on the square for viewing. All are welcome. -- Maureen
