Sherry Neph displayed a quilt she completed, using vintage1930's fabric butterflies, ready to be appliqued to a background of white.

The Patchworkers met at the Collinsville Library January 13, 2015; welcomed new members; shared Show & Tell; and enjoyed a program by Chris Pierce that shared her "Scraps of Wisdom."

The next meeting of the Patchworkers will be February 10, 2015, 6:30-8:00 PM at the Collinsville Library - guests are always welcome!

Watch For Fake Bills
Collinsville Police Department (1/10/2015 Facebook Post) -- Collinsville Police Department has received several reports of two white male subjects, both possibly in their late 20s, with dark brown hair, attempting to purchase items at local businesses using counterfeit one hundred dollar bills. All business owners are urged to be vigilant when accepting large bills. Please contact the Collinsville Police Department with any information.

RUSTIC CUFF CREATOR TO SPEAK AT COLLINSVILLE CHAMBER BANQUET

Collinsville, OK (January 15, 2015) – The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Jill Donovan, Creator of Rustic Cuff, will serve as the Keynote Speaker at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 31, 2015.

Donovan, who went from being an adjunct law professor to a nationally known jewelry designer over the course of three years, will share her story of how she turned her part-time hobby of designing cuffs into a tremendously successful full-time business.

The banquet will take place at 6:00 pm at the West Main Event Center at 1011 W Main St in Collinsville. Tickets are $25 per person or $250 for a reserved table for eight.

Senate President Pro Tempore Brian Bingman today announced committee assignments for Republican members.
