varsity volleyball team played Coweta last night and won the match
in 5 games. The scores were: 18-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, and 15-8.
The girls fought hard and showed a lot of resolve. We're very proud

The
volleyball teams played Skiatook at home last night. The varsity
played their very best volleyball of the year; nevertheless, we
lost in a closely contested match in 4 games. The girls are starting
to play as a team, so we hope this will continue for the rest of

There
was a special session of the city commission at 1pm
Wednesday (8/27) approving the lease of property located
at 13701 N. Old U.S. Highway 169, to Waid Whitlock, dba Collinsville
Wrecker Service. Commissioners York & Porter voted in favor.
Commissioners Bateman & Reeder were unavailable. The terms were
$600/month for 4 years. The Sept. 2nd City meeting will not be held,
so the next scheduled city meet is now Sept. 15th. -- Ted 8/27 1:15pm

varsity volleyball team finished in third place at the Glenpool
tournament this last weekend. We were beat in our final pool play
game by # 5 preseason ranked Shawnee. And, we narrowly lost to Muskogee
in the first round of bracket play. We play at home tomorrow night
