Students
from Collinsville recently competed in the State Junior Livestock
Exposition in Oklahoma City. Brent and Kyle Williams and Alexis
Bell exhibited their beef heifers in competition this week.
Brent Williams took nineth place with his Shorthorn and seventh
with his Chianina heifers, while Kyle Williams placed eleventh
in the Simmental class and second in the Commercial heifer
class. Alexis Bell had first in class, division champion and
the third best at the show with her Limousin heifer.

The first meeting of a
new health group will be at 1:00 P.M on Wednesday,
April 5, 2006 in the Collinsville Library. The group will
research and discuss all aspects of health including, but
not limited to, complementary natural health therapies, longevity
research, nutrition, exercise, bio feedback and other aspect
of health which go hand in hand with therapeutic practices
recommended by physicians. For more information call the Collinsville
Library at 596-2840.

area received a brief snow overnight Wednesday. The snow was mostly
gone by mid-day Thursday. The CHS baseball tournament has been cancelled.
