Josh Walker (2006 graduate of Collinsville High School) pitched his first professional baseball game Wednesday night. He was signed the day before by the Vaqueros, an independent minor league team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He pitched a one hit complete game shutout striking out 8 batters. Davion Jeffries and Gary Wayne Harding are Cadet All Americans. --Two Cardinal wrestlers earned All American honors on Friday at the USA Wrestling Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Gary Wayne Harding went 9-1 and placed 2nd at 119 lbs. Harding was defeated in the finals by Aaron Pico from California. Collinsville Wrestling Coach Wes Harding is coaching the OK USA Cadet Wrestling team in Fargo this week. After Weds and Thurs sessions Gary Wayne Harding is 6-0 in pool wrestling. The latest ad update for the Collinsville Soil Program reports 3200 properties signed up for testing with 2100 soil tests completed.
