working at his home in Hallett when his tractor accidentally flipped
over onto him as he was trying to pull a tree stump from the ground.

Baseball: In a rematch of the State Championship game last spring
between Collinsville and BTW the Cardinals beat the Hornets 18-6
in the consolation game at Bixby. The Cards bats come alive from
the start as they scored 9 runs in the first inning and never looked
back and continued to pile on the runs for the next 4 innings. The
game ended after 5 innings. The Hornets will get another shot at
the defending Class 5A State Champions on April 29th at OneOK Field
in Tulsa. Mark your calanders and support Cardinal Bsbl. -- Jim

Cards win Stilwell Soccer Championship on Mati Bird's sudden
death penalty kick. After playing to a 1-1 tie in regulation in
the Championship game at Stilwell the Lady Card's Soccer team won
6-5 in a sudden shoot out against Tahlequah. In the regular shoot
out Cardinal goalie Courtney Risley blocked 1 of the 5 shots from
Tahlequah and the Tahlequah goalie also blocked 1 of the Cards 5
shot making the score 5-5 and sending the match into sudden death.
In the sudden death Risley blocked Tahlequah's first shot. Then
Tahlequah blocked Collinsville's first shot. In the second sudden
death Risley again blocked Tahlequah's shot on goal. In steps Mati
Bird for the Cardinal GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLL! Cards Win! Cards Win!

Baseball Cards lose 18-17 to Metro Christian. After trailing 17-3
in the 4th inning the Cardinal Bsbl team battled back to tie the
game 17-17 and had the bases loaded with 1 one out in the top of
the 7th and failed to score. Collinsville will play Putnam City

Prom Lock In Parent Meeting (Mar. 24th 7:00pm) at High School
Forward Transit Lab, which is a tool to teach the public about mass
transit for the Tulsa region, will be in Owasso, Skiatook and Collinsville
next week. The Collinsville stop will be at City Hall between about

Chester Nabbed BIG EAST Baseball Player of the Week
- 3/21/2011 -- "Pitt senior first baseman David Chester was
named BIG EAST Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
The Collinsville, Okla. native hit .435 while going 10-23 in six
games last week. Over the span, he batted in three runs in three
of the games, including twice against Niagara and once against Toledo.
Chester led the conference in homeruns (4), slugging percentage
(1.087), and tied for first in RBI (11). Defensively, he recorded
a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, handling each of his 49 putouts.
Chester has registered at least one hit in the last 10 games dating
back to March 11. During the streak, he is batting .500 with 14
