Ted! -- Just wanted to let you know that we made the decision to
close down the Farmers' Market this year. We were sad to

The
City wishes to thank our citizens for their patience and assistance
with the extreme winter weather event this past week. City Services
are striving to return to a level of normalcy. Sanitation crews
began intermittent trash pick ups on Thursday February 4th with
limited success. Friday February 5th is proving more successful
however normal trash routes are impossible at this time. The city
is coordinating alley clearance and sanitation service to allow
the trucks access to commercial dumpsters as well as contracting
heavy equipment services to clear neighborhoods. Weather permitting
normal scheduled trash routes will begin on Monday February 7th,
2011. Again we wish to thank everyone for assisting their neighbors
and for their understanding during this winter event. -- Phil Stowell

a single person has responded to my quest for an "official"
