| Regional Wrestling Status: The Cardinal Wrestling team placed 7 wrestlers in the top 6 and qualified 4 for the Okla State Tournament next weekend at the Fairgrounds Arena in OKC. Jr 160 pounder Cory Snow won the regional championship while Freshman Dylan Helm placed 2nd at 119 lbs, Jr Josh Pennington finished 4th at 152 lbs, Sr Jayce Crowder placed 3rd at 171 lbs. Fr Zach Abkemeier placed 5th at 125 lbs, Soph Isaac Dyer finished 5th at 145 lbs while Fr Jake Barton placed 6th at 135 lbs. Collinsville placed 7th as a team in the 16 team tournament. Boys Beat Skiatook With Miracle Shot February 19, 2010 Girls Won Also On Basketball Senior Night | CHS Basketball Boys won a 54-51 thriller over Skiatook with a (beyond) half court buzzer beater to end double overtime. Reece Montgomery had the final shot in an outstanding team effort as the Cardinals kept finding a way to scrap back in a game that looked like it would be a Skiatook blowout in the first half.
