the month of October, Wilson Elementary students are studying the character
trait of Courage. Courage means to be brave, to be able to face danger, difficulty,
or pain without being afraid. Our Courage quote is: "Courage is being afraid
but going on anyhow." by Dan Rather. There are a lot of things to be courageous
about and our students are demonstrating this trait well this school year.
1st and 2nd grade students
have been chosen who demonstrate the trait of courage:
Grade students for Courage 10-7-11 -- (L-R) -- Brandon Hobbs, Steven Hamilton,
Gabe Alba, Alex Oder, Erika Lassiter, and Coty Williams
Grade students for Courage 10-14-11 -- Front row (l-r): Travis Ryan,
Draven Munroe, Keion Vandiver, and Azael Gonzales. Back row (l-r): Kaylie
Lundy, McKayla McGarrah, Mackenzie Weygand, Cassie Weir, Tyler Overholt, and
Grade students for Courage 10-14-11 -- (L-R) -- Janice Carpenter, Cruz Torres,
Kaleb Rigdon, Keira Ellison, Alexis Green, Riley Palmer, and Alex Nunn
