Flash Back To the 1960s?
I noticed these three VW (Voltswagen) vans parked in Historic Downtown Collinsville Sunday afternoon. They appeared to be traveling as a group as they all departed at the same time just a few moments after I got this photo. -- Ted
The current gas prices were not something that would have been seen in the 1960s without moving a decimal to make it more like 33 cents per gallon.

WWAH Fundraiser (April 2nd)
Baja Jacks in Owasso (Smith Farm) is having a fundraiser breakfast to support WWAH on Saturday, April 2nd from 9-11 a.m. While there, we will also be distributing FREE Pet ID tags! Area residents can receive one FREE ID tag per household and may purchase additional tags for $5/each. This is to support a national awareness campaign to encourage all Pet owners to tag & micro-chip their companion animals.

If you could help us get the word out and encourage folks to come to Baja Jacks and get breakfast (25% of the proceeds will go to Ward Wiseman Animal Haven!) along with a Free Pet ID Tag, we’d sure appreciate it!

Baseball Back At Tulsa Fairgrounds
I was pleased to see baseball being played at the "real" Tulsa Driller's Stadium (i.e the old one at the Fairgrounds) again Wednesday March 23, 2011. It was on a Channel 6 TV report with a youth baseball league paying $5,000 per month to Tulsa County for use of the park that was idle last year after the new Driller's stadium was opened in Downtown Tulsa. -- Ted Wright
