Alumni
Football Team Needs Players
|
http://www.alumnifootballusa.com/ Alumni Football USA is putting together a local alumni football team from Collinsville. The league starts in June and they will play other alumni football teams from other schools such as Oologah, Skiatook, Bartlesville, etc. So far, there are only 4 or 5 guys signed up and they really need more players!! To sign up, the alumni football players have to go to the website above and register. They provide all of the pads and helmets with each players entree fee of $95. Plus they play on their home turff and at other rival schools. The first 40 guys who sign up make the team!! Taylor Whisenhunt Oologah Lower Elementary 2nd Grade Teacher (3/21/2011) |

Skins Baseball

Ted,
Here is a picture of Nick Taylor-Jensen (a 6th grader at CMS) and his Tulsa Skins baseball team played in a tournament in Bixby this past weekend and took 1st place. The boys played 2 pool games on Saturday losing one and winning one. Sunday started bracket play, single elimination. Nick pitched 1 game on Saturday and caught the other 4 games that they played. He threw several runners out at 2nd and picked one off at 1st. The boys had great sticks and were finding the good spots to put the ball. The last out to get the boys to the championship game was a tremendous play at home by Nick. These boys have been playing some great ball so far and we parents are very proud of them.

Wilson students continue to display the character trait of integrity. Before Spring Break, 1st and 2nd grade students were chosen from their classrooms who show integrity in their daily lives. |
