Reece Montgomery (#4 left) launched a running shot from well beyond mid-court just before time expired at the end of the 2nd overtime with a 3rd OT at 51-51 looking certain. Instead, the shot ripped through the net and the players and fans piled on top of Montgomery with an improbable 54-51 win over Skiatook's boys on the Cardnals' Senior Night.

Skiatook missed several opportunities to put the game away including this miss with 4.3 seconds on the clock as the 2nd OT wound down (with Dalton Moore #33 defending). Montgomery (#4) took this miss and after just a few dribbles took his long-range miracle shot. Skiatook had also let Collinsville off the hook by missing two free throws at the end of regulation at 43-43.

These CHS Basketball Seniors had a memorable night as they played their final home game for the Cardinals.
This Jamaro Oakley (#5) steal and layup with 10.7 seconds left in the second overtime tied the score at 51-51 and forced Skiatook to take their final shot/miss which Montgomery converted.
The Basketball & Cheerleading Seniors were joined by family and a few teachers for the Senior Night ceremony. Individual photos will appear on these senior's pages May 1st (if I can get them done on schedule) -- Ted
Brandi Green (#1)
Coach Dave Cross had his own version of "Senior Night" as he completed his last night on the basketball clock after 25 years.
The 2009 State Champion Girls Cross Country Team now has their accomplishment memorialized with a large wall photo in the CHS gym (paired with the 2005 State Softball Champs photo). Several of the XC team members were present at Friday nights basketball to pose with their new large photo.
Steven Majike (#35) sank back to back buckets to close Collinsville within 35-39 with 4:09 left in the game . The Cards trailed 3-13 after the 1st quarter and 10-24 at half. The 3rd quarter ending score was 27-35.

The enthusistic CHS fans definitely got an assist for helping the Cardinals rally and survive against the Bulldogs.
Dylan Weabe (#25) sank this shot for Collinsville's first lead at 42-41 with 1:51 left in regulation.
