3. PUBLIC HEARING - Conducting a special
public hearing to consider Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) related community
development needs. -- Andy Armstrong from INCOG spoke briefly
(including that improvements at the senior citizens center would not require income
surveys like most other projects and made it the choice for the Monday deadline
for grant applications to the County). I was the only "public" and just
confirmed that the senior citizens center was owned by the city and used by the
fair board, 4-H, and senior citizens. According to Armstrong the max available
would be ~$70K but more could free up later due to potential stimulus dollars.
Consideration, discussion and approval of Resolution No. 2009-03 requesting assistance
