Cardinal left fielder Lane Coulter had to retrieve this Mannford base hit off the RCB Bank sign as the Pirates scored in the 3rd inning. I arrived in the 2nd inning but was too late to get a photo of Jose Olazagasti's grand slam. The Cardinals were up 7-3 when I left with soccer games and an election to cover concurrently. -- Ted
Kyle Crutcher with a crossing pass toward Skiatook's goal here Tuesday night. The Collinsville boys were ahead 2-0 at the half when I arrived and held on for a 2-1 win.
Alex Mooney filled in at goalie for the Collinsville girls after Britney Rodrock was injured (sometime before I arrived late in the first half with the Lady Cards down 0-6). The Skiatook girls team won a shortened game here Tuesday.
I was glad to see George Tyler back in goal (after being out with injury for a long time) even though you can barely see him making this stop on a Skiatook corner kick.
Tommy Her (#10) leaps the Skiatook goalie.
Randy Rogers was on the mound for the baseball Cardinals Tuesday against Mannford.
Carleen Mejia (#7) got inside position between this Skiatook forward and the ball.
Whitney McCall (#19)
Peter Rodriguez (#13) drifted back from second base for this catch in right field.
Ethan Miller (#2)
Ricci Smith (#5) slides after sending a shot (behind the pickup) toward the Skiatook goal (ignore the extra net and ball).

4/8/2009 Tulsa World reported Riley Murr injured in Monday's Bishop Kelley game.
Ted,
I was looking through Vype (Oklahoma High Scool sports magazine) and noticed that Coach Tony Reeder was selected as the Character Counts Coach of the Month. Coaches are nominated by people in their community. Coach Reeder was selected for his dedication to improving CHS baseball facilities among other things. Vype magazine is free and is available at several area stores and restaurants, I found mine at Jalapeno Grill. Congratulations to Coach Reeder!
