Exchanging
Heat Exchangers |
The heat transfer unit of the Middle School cooling tower (between the band room and the Library) was replaced using a crane Thursday morning April 9, 2009. The old unit was damaged back in December 2008 when electricity was lost to the heat pan and temperatures dropped below freezing. The new unit will have glycol added to help prevent a repeat of that double failure situation. The bright shiny one still on the trailer is the new unit and the old discolored unit is airborn above. |

The
asphalt has been applied to the Broadway extention that now reaches "Old
Hwy 169" just east of Kent's car lot (which is now reached from Broadway
instead of Main St.). These photos were taken Saturday April 11, 2009 and the
striping and cleanup work was not yet completed so access is still limited. (Previous Coverage) |
