| Parade
Reminder: This is just a reminder that the Homecoming parade is this Friday
at 3:30. Line-up will be at the City Park. Please do not start lining up before
1:30. Enter the park at the West Entrance. For the safety of the students the
road inside the park will be one-way, vehicles will not be allowed to enter the
park from the East entrance. With the exception of the Band and the Homecoming
Royalty, there is no particular order of floats for the parade. Please do not
park your floats until you have driven as far to the front of the line-up as you
can. A parent must drive the float and a parent/parents must ride on the float
with the children. Coaches and sponsors, please remind students that candy is
to be gently tossed to the crowd and that there is to be no silly string, water
balloons, water guns, shaving cream etc. No go carts, 4-wheelers, motorcycles
etc. will be allowed. Please decorate floats to help us promote school/team spirit.

| Wanted to let you know that the CHS Band will not be performing at Union's Renegrade Marching contest on Saturday. Instead, they will be performing at the Blue & Gray Marching Classic in Glenpool (their performance is at 4:30 pm). | In case anyone was wondering the Junior Class did not sell Homecoming Mums this year. The tradition has slowly declined over the last several years and we stopped making a profit. One year it actually cost us to sell them. We really regret having to drop this tradition but the demand just wasn't there anymore. -- M. Delozier 9/29 |
