| The Cardinal Freshman
footballers beat Hominy 13-6 Thursday night at Sallee Field. The Cardinals
played a bend don't break defense while the offense controled the game
with time consuming ball control drives that kept the potent Hominy offense
off the field. Brandon Schmauss had 2 interceptions that turned away Hominy
scoring drives while Michael Anderson ran the option to perfection to
eat up the clock and keep the chains moving for the Cardinals. Scoring
for Collinsville were James "Chuck" Norris on a 6 yard run and
Joe Crab "Shack" on a 16 yard pass from Anderson. Norris added
the kick after the first TD. Great job Freshman. |
