Bart Schultheiss
held a reception Thursday (Aug. 14th) saying goodbye to retiring Willa
Keith (center) and introducing his new assistant, Sarah Evans (right).
Willa said she started working at Schultheiss Insurance in about 1983. She had worked for John & Betty Wright at "The Collinsville News" for about 9 years before that. Bart started at the insurance agency in 1980 but the business has a lengthy Collinsville heritage back even before the Elledge-Schultheiss days when Bob Schultheiss (Bart's Dad) and Raliegh Elledge ran the business. I'll try to expand on that story in the future. -- Ted |
Previous Coverage: Schultheiss Insurance will be holding an open house in honor of Willa Keith's retirement. Willa has been a valuable part of the agency for almost 25 years. The open house will be held at our office at 923 W Main on Aug. 14 from 3-5 PM. Please drop by for punch and cookies and to offer your best wishes to Willa. -- Bart Schultheiss (8/6/2008) |

Keela
Baker & Georgianna Oliver
|
Keela Nall-Baker
was born in Collinsville Hospital in 1980. She graduated from Collinsville
High School in 1998 and Tulsa Community College in 2006. Keela is graduating
from OSU-Tulsa in December with a double major in Marketing and Management.
She has won several prestigious scholarships including the George and
Donna Nigh Public Service Scholarship, which was established in 1999,
by the Oklahoma Legislature to provide scholarship opportunities
to outstanding students who are preparing for careers in public service
and the National Educated Women Scholarship which was started at Rutgers
and is held at the Carl Albert Center at OU. Keela currently works for Georgianna Oliver, who is the democratic candidate for US Congress, CD-1, in public relations. Keela is also a certified master recycler with Tulsa Recycles and volunteers in the community. She hopes to return to Collinsville and bring the community back to what it once was When I saw the schedule for the fair I was saddened, so many great events I grew up with are no longer being held and our children are missing out. The pool being closed is also a very sad thing. I grew up in that pool and I loved it. After graduating Keela plans to get a Masters degree at OSU-Tulsa in Environmental Policy making and one day hopes to be the girl from Collinsville who made a difference. -- Submitted 8/13/2008 |
