I hope everyone got to attend the Band Preview Night last night, August 25. Not only did you get to hear our awesome Crimson Cadets, but you also had a chance to sign up for our regular booster membership and corporate booster membership. There were also orders taken for the 2009 Crimson Cadet red t-shirt and ‘Home of a Crimson Cadet’ signs. It’s not too late to become a Band Booster or Corporate Band Booster member, just show up to our next meeting, September 9 at 7:00pm in the band room, or for more information regarding the Corporate Boosters contact Eric Whaley at 918-698-1427. For information regarding the t-shirts or signs contact Angie Storm at 371-3632.

Band Boosters: You must be a Band Booster member in order to vote on important issues regarding the band. The cost is $5 per person. Please become a member and get involved. You’ll be very glad you did.

Corporate Booster: Open to any person(s) interested in becoming corporate sponsors. Sponsor will receive our newsletter to keep informed of all of our membership meetings and if they meet certain criteria, can be a voting member. In addition, the sponsor would receive a card good for two (2) burger baskets at all of the home varsity football games and their name will be listed on our food trailer. The price of this membership is $100.

We would like to welcome two new band directors to the Collinsville Band Program this year:
Mr. Richard Newhart comes to us from the Adair band program to fill our Assistant Band Director position and Dr. Bruce Roberts is our new Percussion Specialist from the University of Arkansas. I know they will be a wonderful addition to our band!
