Accomplished
During Trent's Tenure:
- Worked closely
with the City Manager and the Red Cross during ice storm disaster
- Instrumental
in all efforts for our new fire station and city hall restoration
- Instrumental
in acquiring two new ambulances, a new pumper fire engine and a new
grass fire rig
- Worked with DEQ
to clean old smelter site and opened a recycle center on Broadway
- Improved response
time and efficiency by combining Fire and EMS departments
- Involved in bringing
nearly $8,000,000 in highway transportation improvements to Collinsville.
(Opened Broadway Bridge, Main Street Enhancement Project, East Highway
20 Gateway Improvement Project, S-curve Improvement Project)
- Collaborated
efforts to create a more efficient and profitable trash service for
Collinsville and reduced summer sewer rates, as well as implemented
a system to improve sewer lagoon efficiency
- School Crossing
on Broadway is safer for our children
- Expanded electric
service west for anticipated residential and commercial growth. Expanded
electric service south to Collinsville's Industrial Park to support
more industry growth.

Collinsville's
Dalton Salisbury defeated Carl Albert's Zach Aylor 7-3 in the 4A State wrestlings
finals Feb. 23rd for the State Title at 189 pounds. (CHS Coach Mike Henry at

Collinsville's
Michael Maul came just a few points short of the 4A State Title at 160 pounds
with an 8-10 loss to Nobel's Tim Taylor in the finals match Saturday.
Dalton
Salisbury (white uniform with red trim) had built up a 5-2 lead with 43 seconds
left in the final period against Zach Aylor. This was the first time the two
had wrestled.
Michael
Maul (white uniform with red trim) turned Tim Taylor with less than a minutes
left in the third period to earn 3 back points and pull within 6-8. Maul had
pinned Taylor in their previous match (at regionals).
Five
Collinsville wrestlers qualified for the State Tournamant in Oklahoma City Feb.
23-24th. L-R: Dalton Salisbury, Matt West, Michael Maul, Michael Pitts and Jayce
Crowder. Only Salisbury and Maul survived the first day of matches Friday to
continure wrestling Saturday. With wrestlers for all state classes (2A+3A+4A+5A)
there were 116 wrestlers competing in OKC. Matches at each weight were held
concurrently on adjacent mats in the areana on the state fairgrounds.
Collinsville
High School was well represented in OKC this weekend with the wrestlers, fans,
mat maids (above) and cheerleaders (below).

Dalton
Salisbury added a takedown with 13 seconds left to ensure his win.
Oologah's
Trevor Holly won a 3A State Title at 112 (above) and Derrick Adkins won a 3A
State Title at 171 (right and below).
In
a battle of unbeatens, Skiatook's Stephen Kendrick (red uniform) came up short
in his bid for a 4A State Title at 119, losing to Casey Rowell of Duncan.

won 14-4, Dalton Salisbury won by technical fall 20-5, Jayce Crowder lost
3-11, Michael Pitts lost 2-6, Matt West lost by pin. All will wrestle
