KOTV Weatherman Travis Meyer presented a $1000 check to Susan Babbit & Brinkley Howard for the "Friends of the Collinsville Animal Shelter". The presentation was part of The News on 6 and The Collinville News sponsored Community Spirit Tour which provided TV exposure for Collinsville Tuesday. The students at Herald Elementary also got to watch a version of Trav's weather show Tuesday afternoon.
The Collinsville Lady Cardinal defense kept Catoosa from scoring before Collinville was up 12-0 with about 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter. The Catoosa Ladies came back to trail by only 1 at halftime at 18-17. Collinsville led 37-30 at the end of 3 quarters and the final score was 57-36.
Travis Meyer had lunch with community officials Tuesday the the Silver Dollar Cafe.
Jake Henry (son of Coach Mike Henry) won $100 from RCB Bank with his name drawn by the Collinsville cheerleaders.
Jeramiah Becker (#10) was clearly the fan and players' favorite Tuesday night in the final home appearance for 3 senior boy players, 1 manager and 4 cheerleaders.
The individual photos of the seniors with their folks will appear on their 2008 graduate pages that will go online ~May 1st.
Post-Season Play for Collinsville begins Saturday Feb. 16th at Dewey (girls 6:30 / boys 8pm). They still have regular games at Glenpool and Mannford.

The Catoosa boys only had 5 players in uniform Tuesday and couldn't keep up with the Cardinals. The 1st quarter score was 13-6. Half was 33-12 and the final score was 60-21 in Collinsville's favor.
