|Twelve members of
the Collinsville's Library Patchworkers met July 10, and welcomed Wanda
Nyberg into the group. Several shared their "Show & Tell,"
as well as travel news and pictures, with the most distant trip being
to Winterset, Iowa that included a visit to the Fons and Porter Quilt
Shop. At the Chamber's request, it was voted to sponsor a "quilt
show/display" at the Library as part of the Sept. 29 Fall Festival.
An appliqué flower basket quilt will be available for a drawing.
Janet Martin presented a program on pattern organization, and the fat
quarter drawing was won by Ann Cooper. The next meeting will be Aug. 14,
7 PM, and is open anyone with an interest in quilting. -- Submitted by
