Cardinals Won 38-6
After Trailing 3-6
At Half
Kolten Allphin passed to Andrew Wilsom (from the 38 to the 6) on Collinsville's first possession.
That first drive stalled at the 5 yard line and Collinsville settled for an Ashton Jones field goal at 3:38 in the firat quarter. It turned out to be the only Collinsville score in the first half.
This East Central pass was near the line of scrimmage (the EC 23 yard line) but the run after catch eluded all Collinsville defenders and the Tulsa Cardinals took a 3-6 lead over the Collinsville Cardinals with 1:54 left in the first quarter.
Collinsville blocked the East Central extra point kick leaving the score 3-6 which stood thru the scoreless 2nd quarter.
Payton Russell (#36) caught this Allphin pass at mid-field near the end of the 1st quarter.
Collinsville blockers are trying to clear a path for Jeran Seabolt (#11) as he receives the handoff from Kolten Allphin (#1) in the second quarter.
Jake Bays (#13) punted with about a minute left in the first half after 3 straight incompletions. The previous 2nd quarter possession turned the ball over on downs.
Kolten Allphin (#1) scored on this 50 yard keeper on the third play from scrimmage in the 3rd quarter to put Collinsville back in front at 10-6 with 10:20 in the 3rd quarter. Ashton Jones kicked the extra point.
The offensive front
Kolten Allphin (#1) looked relaxed as he jumped over the goal line from one yard out with no nearby tacklers at 8:50 in the 3rd quarter. After Jones' PAT the score was 17-6.
This East Central rushing attempt had no chance against the swarming Collinsville defense.
Eli Benham (#10) reached mid field on this punt return in the 3rd quarter.
Jeran Seabolt (#11) followed this Andrew Wilson block into the endzone (from the 3 yard line) at 4:50 in the 3rd quarter. Ashton Jones kicked the extra point for a 24-6 score.
Payton Russell and Nate Wilkins put the crunch on this East Central 3rd quarter play.
East Central turned the ball over at their own 36 yard line with a bad snap on 4th down and Brayden Gilkey (#42) needed just one play to put it in the endzone at 3:07 in the 3rd quarter. Jones kicked the extra point for a 31-6 score.
Jeran Seabolt (#11) scored from five yards out at 10:50 in the 4th quarter. Ashton Jones kicked the final point of the evening and the 38-6 final score.
Jake Bays (#13) intercepted East Central near mid-field at 7L48 in the 4th quarter.
Andrew Carney (#18) recovered an East Central fumble with 2:07 left in the game.
