CHS Football -vs- East Central
Collinsville Finishes Regular Season 5-4 and District 4-2
With 45-14 Win Over EC
The Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band did not march but entertained from the stands at East Central Thursday night.
Blake Burd (#22) covered about 40 yards on Collinsville's first play from scrimmage after holding East Central on downs at the Collinsville 47. Blake had several more carries in the first half but sat out the second half with more shoulder issues.
Seth Boomer (#12) receives the snap with Blake Burd (#22) preparing to block on the TD pass below.
Seth Boomer (#12) sent this pass to the endzone for a waiting Brett Erickson (below).
Brett Erickson (#11) caught Seth Boomer's 15 yard pass for the first Collinsville touchdown at the 9 minute mark of the first quarter. Cole Hadley kicked the extra point for a 7-0 score.
Levi Draper (#10) and Hayden West (#10) combined for this 1st quarter East Central stop.

... and Tyler Forrest (#1) scooping and scoring with the fumbled EC pitch for Collinville's 2nd TD. Hadley kicked the extra point and the score was 14-0 with 7:04 left in the first quarter.
Levi Draper (#10) intercepted East Central and returned the pass for the 3rd Collinsville score at 6:14 in the first quarter. The line of scrimmage was the 18 when the play started. Hadley's kick made the score 21-0.
Roc Robbins providing the deep snap and the line blocking for the extra point attempts.
Hayden West (#33) rushed from Collinsville's 36 all the way down to East Central's 11 yard line late in the first quarter.
Following West's long run, a holding penalty slowed the drive which did reach the 5 before this Cole Hadley (#9) field goal at 10:51 in the 2nd quarter for a 24-0 score.
The student section was active all evening including a lot of pushups, starting over with each of the 45 points scored.
Sam West (#13) caught back to back 5 yard TD passes from Seth Boomer in the 2nd quarter. The first was at 3:01 and Hadley's kick put the score at 31-0. The second was with just 27.9 seconds left before half time and Hadley's kick made the half score 38-0.
The CHS Cheerleaders were also active all evening cheering and dancing.
Marc Tillman (#24) scored the only Collinsville TD in the 2nd half on a 2 yard run set up by the 33 yard run above on the Collinsville Cardinal's opening drive of the last half. Hadley's kick made the score 45-0 with 9:42 left in the 3rd quarter. East Central followed by returning the kickoff out to the 40 then scoring on a 60 yard TD run on the next play and a 2-point conversion for a 45-8 score at 9:15 of the 3rd quarter.
It's not a good situation when the head coach is in a better position for the tackle than the trailing Collinsville defenders. Collinsville did make the stop after a big gain by East Central in the 3rd quarter to Collinsville's 48. An interception (below) stopped that EC drive.
Brett Erickson (#11) picked off this East Central pass with 5:14 left in the 3rd quarter.
With a good sized lead in the 2nd half, Coach Jones got lots of non-starters on the field ... mostly on offense and a bit on defense. Sophomore Nate Sinni (#16) with a 3rd quarter pass attempt above with Spenser Oslin (#65).
Polo Patterson (#27), Marc Tillman (#24) and #55 (behind the pile) stopped East Central at the 2 yard line on 4th and goal with 9:12 left in the game.
Most of the starters got to take longer breaks during 4th quarter action.
Marcus Reeder (#88) and Justin Collins (#21) made this 4th quarter tackle and forced a fumble recovered by Collinsville at the 5 yard line with 6:16 remaining in the game.
QB Nate Sinni (#16) and running back Logan Sieminskie (#20) took turns trying to get Collinsville out away from their own goal line late in the 4th quarter.
Austin Roberts (#23) punting.
Jonathan Crawford (#26) handled the EC kickoff following their 5 yard TD pass (and PAT fail) with 3:37 left in the game and the final score reached at 45-14.
Matt Blissitt (#38) got tripped up on this late 4th quarter run.
The CHS Cheerleaders were busting some moves on their own (above) before being joined by the East Central dance squad (below) for some type of sideline dance-off fun.
With the freshman suited out and getting to play in the final regular season game, there were many players not on my early season roster ... so I can't ID them. -- Ted

CHS Football 45-14 Win at East Central -- Thursday 11/5/2015 -- photos and details later
Collinsville could host in the first round of the HS football playoffs if two things happen. One, is that they win on Thursday night vs East Central. Two, is that Coweta beats Tahlequah on Friday night. Simple enough. -- Jim Riley 11/3/2015
