Collinsville school teachers and support personnel were lined up out the door of the Middle School Library Tuesday morning to get their bag of goods from Chamber of Commerce members before heading into the Commons area and a breakfast and program.
The teachers were greeted by the CHS Cheerleaders to start this new year.
Marilyn Hardacre provided several free copies of a book titled "i YGeneration" and her sister from Keller Williams explained the concept of the book about kids born between 1984 and 2002.
Pairs of Teacher Sisters -- Missy DeLozier (left) and her sister Debi Whisenhunt (right) have been teaching together at Collinsville High School for several years. They will be joined in the Collinsville School system this year by two of Debi's daughters: Taylor (2nd from left) and Whitney (2nd from right). Taylor (Whisenhunt) Kite and her sister Whitney (Whisenhunt) Wilson will both be teaching 3rd grade classes. Taylor and Whitney's mother-in-laws both also work for the school district: Debbie Kite and Lauri Koopmans.
