The
Collinsville Middle School Cafeteria was nearly full with all the school personnel
gathered in one location for breakfast Tuesday August 10th.
State
Rep. Earl Sears thanked those gathered for educating our youth.
Local
Chamber of Commerce merchants showed their teacher appreciation by giving goodie
bags and prizes as the group entered for the breakfast and by drawing after
the breakfast.
I
don't recall giving a medical report from the teacher's breakfast before but
there were a few notable casts in the crowd this year. -- Ted
Four of the newest Collinsville
teachers posed for this photo after the breakfast Tuesday.
L-R Seated: Kacy
Keim and Taylor Wheeler. Standing: Ryan Frame and Steven Sparks. (Additional

Howard
Ray (center) said this was the start of his 54th year in the school business.
He said it would have been 56, but he took off for a year and a half.
These
teachers weren't wasting any time getting their material ready for the start
of classes just two day away.
The
"Teachers of The Year" for last year received one last acknowledgement
before asking folks to consider who would be honored for this new school year.
