Road work at the intersection of 5th and Broadway continues. The view Wednesday (above) almost looked like a 5th Street bridge was needed as the roadway had been removed temporarily leaving just a water filled ditch stopping any traffic to/from the north on 5th. Broadway traffic to/from Main was still flowing. (Previous Coverage).
Gas Prices Down A Bit
Noticed gas at the two Collinsville stations I drove by today (May 31, 2007) was at $3.15 per gallon which is down a bit from the $3.29 posted May 22nd (below).
The building improvements at the 15th and Main Sinclair reflect Mo Bhuiyan's continued investment in Collinsville.
