Norm Van Sickle has been battling cancer unable to be on the sidelines (taking his popular photos of Cardinal activities) for months but was back on Sallee Field Homcoming Friday to receive a signed football from the team and participated in the captains meeting / coin toss on the mid-field Cardinal during pre-game. His daughter was helping him get around in a wheel chair.
Malcom Tillman (#24) scored the first Collinsville touchdown on this 15 yard run at 8:45 in the first quarter. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for a 7-0 score.

Baylor Haynie (#35) scored the second TD of the game with a pass from Cole Dugger (#12 above). The play covered 46 yards and the score was 13-0 with the extra point wide at 4:36 in the 1st quarter.
(King) Jake Tuttle (#21) on a 35 yard TD run with 2:20 left in the 1st quarter. Weiser's PAT kick was good for a 20-0 score.
Eli Benham (#10) tackle.
I understand that some level of holding occurs on every play (typically not called) but found this photo of interest due to the symmetry of dual Memorial holds revealing the shoulder pads of two Cardinals (Payton Russell #36 & Tres Sexton #59) while Gage Tacker (#84) closes in on the Memorial QB who has just released a pass (ball in upper right of photo). -- Ted
Jake Tuttle (#21) scored his second touchdown on a 39 yard rushing play at 3:40 in the second quarter. Weiser's PAT put the score at 27-0.
The Cardinal defense forced Memorial to punt from their own endzone setting up good field position (at the 33 yard line) with 1:44 before half time.
Malcom Tillman (#24) scored his 2nd TD with just 39 seconds left in the first half. The extra point kick was no good and the the half time score was 33-0.
The Collinsville Cheerleaders presented a unique and entertaining half-time performance I can only describe as a quick-costume-changing music mash-up dance with the band's new large photo screens as a backdrop. I'm guessing the visitors side (which was mostly Collinsville folks) had a different take as they watched the costumes transition between each dance but couldn't see the dances enjoyed by the home side with just a sample below. -- Ted
The Crimcon Cadets introduced their new "When It Counts" props here Friday night (... before taking them to the Owasso Marching Contest the next day)
Brayden Burd (#22) scored on an 11 yard run at 9:55 in the 3rd quarter. Weiser's kick set the score at 40-0.
Malcom Tillman (#24) intercepted a Memorial pass and returned it to the 30 yard line at 9:17 3Q.
Reserves played out most of the second half. Baylor Weathers (#16) was in at QB handing off to Seth Weiser (#6) initially under the watchful eyes of their coaches in the background..
Seth Weiser (#6) scored on an eight yard TD run at 5:54 in the 3rd quarter ... then kicked the extra point ... then kicked off ... with the score 47-0.
It looked like the reserve defenders might be able to preserve the shutout with a nice looking goal-line stand pushing Memorial backwards for a few plays before the Chargers QB kept for a 6 yard TD with 2:30 left in the game. That made the score 47-6 as their extra point run attempt was short. Collinsville (Tillman) covered the on-side kickoff attempt at the 42 yard line.
A long run by Hunter Davis (#14) set Collinsville up for one more score from the 10 yard line.
Nate Wilkins (#32) covered the final 10 yards in two carries scoring with 50 seconds left. Weiser's kick was good for the final 54-6 score.
