CHS Football -vs- Tahlequah
2017 Varsity Football Cardinals Lost 21-31 To Tahlequah

The Collinsville High School Alumni Choir (assisted by current choir members) sang the National Anthem before kickoff.
Tahlequah was already up two touchdowns when Collinsville came this close to converting a 4th and 5 play on the 3rd play of the 2nd quarter. Hayden West (#33) was twisted up freeing himself from the defender and got his hands on the Tate Robards pass (from the 43 to the 10) but couldn't hang on. Tahlequah took over at their own 43 and drove down for a field goal and 0-17 lead with 3:38 left in the second quarter.
The students were wearing team jerseys of their pro/college favorite teams ... one of the spirit day themes this homecoming week.
Collinsville finally got on the scoreboard with just 25 seconds left before halftime. The Cards covered 74 yards (with a 50 yard Jake Tuttle run the big gainer and maintaining the ball after 3 fumbles) with Malcom Tillman (#24) rushing the final two yards to pull within 7-17.
The CCC band "disappeared" behind their new western panels to begin the half-time "Wild" show which they repeated Saturday at The Owasso Marching Contest.
Hayden West (#33) gave the Cardinals good field position to start the second half with a kickoff return out to the 45 yard line.
Collinsville drove down the field with Jake Tuttle and Malcom Tillman rushes and Tate Roberts (#8) kept to the 3 yard with a Nate Sinni block (above).
Malcom Tillman (#24) scored from 3 yards out on Collinsville's first possession of the 3rd quarter (at 6:24). Ashton Jones kicked his second extra point and the score reached 14-17.
Tahlequah's QB was Tahlequah's main offensive threat with numerous rushes but the defense hauled him down on this 3rd quarter play.
This Tahlequah snap over the punter's head set Collinsville up at the Tahlequah 2 yard line with 4:08 left in the 3rd quarter.
Malcom Tillman (#24) scored his third touchdown of the evening with 4:05 left in the third quarter giving Collinsville their first lead of the game at 21-17 following the PAT.
Collinsville's lead lasted only a few minutes when Tahlequah completed a 68 yard TD pass play (after a scramble) at 1:43 in the 3rd quarter (21-24).
Walker Roberts (#23) stopped a deep Tahlequah threat with this 4th quarter interception but Tahlequah ended up with a 21-31 win.
