Johnson (#6) scored the first points on this 28 yard TD pass from Derek Iannapollo
in the back of the end zone at 7:44 in the 1st quarter. Shambrook kicked his
first of 4 extra points for a 7-0 Cardinal lead after their possession.
The
CHS wrestling team hosted a Chili Dinner fundraiser before the game Friday (across
the street at Wilson Elementary).
Collinsville
stated their second possession from the 6 yard line after Tahlequah punted.
The Cardinal's 2nd drive consumed the rest of the first quarter and into the
second.
Late
in the first quarter T.J.Johnson (#6) had the full attention of the Collinsville
coaches and bench with this sideline pass from Derek Iannapollo.
The
Collinsville 8th Grade Football Conference Champs were recognized at the end
of the 1st quarter.
Many
of the fans were wearing shirts to honor the memory of Brian Phillips.
On
the 2nd play of the 2nd quarter TJ Johnson (#6) got within about an inch of
making a first down on this 4th and 11 pass play down to the Tahlequah 14 yard
line. Tahlequah took over on downs and drove for their only first half score
at 6:51 in the 2nd quarter.
Band
members were busy in the 2nd quarter attaching purple light sticks (in memory
of Brian Phillips) for their annual half time light show.
Gary
Olivier (#32) punted for the Cards in the 2nd quarter (the only Collinsville
punt of the game).
David
Roensch (#63) got this 2nd quarter sack with help from Rasmussen and Crutchfield.
Carter
Rasmussen (#85) scored on this 21 yard TD pass from Derek Iannapollo at 7:30
in the 3rd quarter.
Carter
Rasmussen (#85 above) rushed the Tahlequah quarterback (above) and set up a
Hunter West (#33 below) interception and return to the 15 at 6:04 in the 3rd
quarter.
Dylan
Cook (#18) scored on a 12 yard end-around at 5:05 in the 3rd quarter. Shambrook's
kick made it 21-7.
Ryan
Haymaker (#25) scored a 4th quarter TD from 39 yards out with 5:23 left in the
game. Hayden Beeson's kick failed and the score was 34-14. Tahlequah had scored
their 2nd TD early in the 4th quarter following a Collinsville fumble.
Derek
Iannapollo (#10) got to play defense last week after a pre-season injury...
and this week he played the entire game at Quarterback for the Cardinals in
week 10. He scored the final TD on this 61 yard keeper with less than 2 minutes
left in the game against Tahlequah. Iannapollo also threw 3 touchdown passes
in the 40-21 Cardinal victory. McElroy was suited and could have played if needed
and Koscheski was in street clothes.
