Aaron Kelly (#47) sacked Memorial's QB on this 2nd quarter play.
Collinsville barely stopped Memorial on this play down to the 7 on Memorial's first possession in the 2nd half. Memorial scored on the next play and then kicked the extra point for a 7-16 score at 8:35 in the3rd quarter.
Collinsville drove to Memorial's 31 on their first possession in the 2nd half but stalled after a holding penalty and punted on 4th and 27 at the 46. A Shane Goossen punt was muffed by the Memorial receiver (left) and after a hit by (TJ) Terrell Johnson II (#31) the ball rolled into the endzone where Cardinal freshman Conner Crutchfield (#18) covered it for a touchdown at 2:35 in the 3rd quarter followed by a Cardinal celebration (above).
James Norris (#34) added the extra point to reach the 14-16 score which was not added to by either team in the final quarter.
Shane Douglass (#9) had several good gains on QB keepers Friday following his blockers.
Patrick Moss (#65) finishes up on this 5 yard loss to the 10 which forced a punt and gave Collinsville good field possition in the 4th quarter.
Collinsville lost their good field position (after reaching Memorial's 31 with about 5 minutes left in the game) with this fumble recovered by Memorial.
Despite Patrick Moss' leap Memorial completed this pass from their own 15 out to the 43 (and eventually down to Collinsville's 14) as they ran out the final 5 minutes of clock for the win.
