Oct. 21, 2010 at Skiatook 1st 2nd 3rd 4th final
After stopping Skiatook on the opening possession, Collinsville started at their own 4 yard line following the Skiatook punt. With Tyler Lowe (#22 right) carrying on the majority of plays, Collinsville reached the Skiatook 36 yard line before the drive stalled early in the 2nd quarter. Collinsville punted to the Skiatook 14 for just the 2nd Bulldog possession.
The Cardinal defenders kept Skiatook penned on their 2nd possession with plays like this tackle (at the 17 yard line) with at least 6 Cards involved including Newt Salisbury (#66), Will Wood (#44), Tyler Tabor (#42) and Patrick Moss (#65). Skiatook eventually punted on 4th and 17 out to their own 26 yard line.
Joe Keith (#28) and QB Shane Douglass couldn't quite connect on this 4th and 16th pass attempt near the goal but were also flagged on the play (ending the Cards 2nd possession) giving Skiatook the ball back at their 11 with 4:07 left in the half.
Collinsville's defense kept Skiatook penned again forcing another punt from the endzone and after a facemask penalty Collinsville started at the Skiatook 42. A pass to Tyler Lowe reached the 34 before the 34 yard run (above) by Shane Goossen (#21) provided the only Cardinal points of the game with 1:43 left in the first half. Zane McElroy's extra point kick was no good and Collinville had a 6-0 lead.
Issac Dyer (#23) made the stop on this Skiatook pass to the Collinsville 42 with 7.4 seconds left in the half.
Skiatook completed this 4th and 6th pass for 42 yards and a touchdown with 1.1 seconds left before halftime. Their extra point kick was good and the score 6-7.
Due to planned Senior Night activities by Skiatook, Collinsville's CCC Band marched their "Zen" program during pre-game.
