The Crimson Cadet Band added a backdrop for their "Versus" marching program Friday.
Merin Oakley (#30) got the Cardinals to mid-field with a 42 yard opening kickoff return for the second half.
Merin Oakley's halfback pass to Will Wood (#44) was incomplete early in the 2nd half.
This 43 yard Shane Douglas (#9) keeper down to Catoosa's 18 yard line (with under 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter) looked even more impressive on the Channel 6 KOTV TV's helicopter film footage on the 10pm sports news Friday (below).

Merin Oakley (#30) reached Catoosa's 4 yard line (from the 9) but the drive stalled and backed up on motion then delay penalties before the field goal attempt was muffed with Catoosa taking over at their own 31 yard line with 7:40 left in the 3rd quarter.
Phillip Kolosha (#77) with an 8 yard sack in the 3rd quarter.
Jayce Crowder (#16) with a first down pick up out to the 28 yard line in mid-3rd quarter.
This was the second punt bad snap chased down and converted by Catoosa. This one in the 3rd quarter, from midfield with Phillip Kolosha (#77) rushing, rolled into the endzone.
This disputed play (5 plays into the 4th quarter) was a huge momentum shift in the game. Collinsville punted from their own 38 and the ball appeared to have been touched by the Catoosa receiver. Jamaro Oakley (#31) took the ball on the bounce at Catoosa's 20 yard line and ran it in for an apparent Collinsville touchdown. The officials conferred and instead of Collinsville having the lead, Catoosa was awarded the ball at the 20.
This 4th quarter pass attempt to John Pinney was incomplete with 6:36 left in the game and Collinsville punting on the next play. Collinsville got the ball back one more time but Catoosa intercepted and ran out the clock for the 6-7 final score.
