Cookie
Delivery |
I noticed what appeared to be a major cookie delivery at the Middle School Tuesday March 24th. I'm sure there is a fund raiser associated with the activity. -- Ted |
New
Broadway Connection |
The curbing is now in place (but not the asphalt) for the extension of Broadway behind the American Bank of Oklahoma and in front of Kent's Custom Cars and Trucks. The top view is facing west and shows the new connection of Broadway to the "Old Highway 169" which is just west of the "New Highway 169" at the 146th St. North exit. The view below is looking east toward both 169's. Tulsa County crews are doing the labor for this Collinsville access improvement. The new roadway is not yet open for public use. |
Patchwork
Quilters |
The
Collinsville Patchworkers met March 10 at the Library, and welcomed new member
Tonya Rosamond from Oregon. Peggy Hamilton won the fat quarter drawing, and chose
yellow for April's drawing. Janet Martin gave a program on half-square triangles
and ways they can be assembled to create several different plays of color and
light in a quilt. Submitted by Linda Pfeffer (3/20/2009) |
