State Champs

I was just notified today that Collinsville's Girls
Golf team has won the Class 5A Girls Golf Academic State Championship.
The Girls accumulative GPA was 3.9. They will recieve the State
Championship trophy on Thursday at the State Championship Awards
ceremony after the State Tournament is completed. Congratulations
to Coach Slagle and the girls. This is Collinsville's 3rd Academic
State Championship this year. Cheer and Girls BB won the first 2.

to the girls golf team for a great job at state! They placed 5th
with a 739 after 36 holes. Nina Lee, a freshman, placed 4th in 5A
with a 159. They are also STATE ACADEMIC CHAMPIONS! I'm very proud
of these girls and their accomplishments this season!

at regionals qualifying for the 5A State Tournament at Scissortail

Collinsville Coaches were honored by their peers at the Region 7 Oklahoma
Coaches Association Meeting Weds. night at Union. Susie Vaughn was selected
Region 7 Girls BB Coach of the Year. Wes Harding was selected Region 7
Wrestling Coach of the Year for the 5th time. Toni
Slagle was selected Region 7 Golf Coach of the Year and Bobby
Sparks was nominated for All State Tennis Coach. Sparks could be selected
to coach the East Tennis All State team that plays in July at the OCA
