We did not play well the first 18 holes but we all played better the second 18 holes.
Very proud of the team with only two who had walked and played 36 holes in one day. Daniel is the only golfer we will lose this year and we are looking forward to next year.

Would like to thank Owasso Golf and Athletic Club for allowing us the opportunity to use their facilities for practice. Also, would like to thank the administration and teachers for allowing the golfers to be able to miss school and attend the tournaments during golf season.

BATTER UP FOR SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP

The Collinsville Cardinals summer baseball camp is right around the corner. Beginning Tuesday, May 31st to Friday, June 3rd for players ages 5-13. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 11:30a.m. The camp will cover the fundamentals of infield and outfield defense, hitting, and base running. The cost is $75 per player or $65 per player if you have 5 or more teammates in uniform. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt for participating in the camp. Olazagati: Gold Glove Shortstop

Former Cardinal baseballer Jose Olazagati was selected as the Jr College Gold Glove Shortstop.
Jose was also selected to the 1st Team All Conference Team. Olazagasti plays shortstop for Seminole Junior College.

Labette Softball Cardinals
To National Tournament

The Labette Cardinals from Parsons, KS will be traveling to the national tournament in Bloomington IL next week. The girls won the regional tournament on Mother's Day!! Here is a picture of Lacie Cook and Rachael Pitts with the Regional trophy!! The team is 43-14 on the year. This is Labette's first trip to the national tournament. These girls from Collinsville have had an amazing year and they are both proud to be Cardinals!!

The Will Rogers Lions Club of Claremore is excited to announce that the 20th Green Country All-Star Football game will be on Friday, May 27th at Catoosa High School. The game will begin at 7:30.

Cardinal baseballers Trent Lee, Brant Werdel and Trevor Rabbitt have been selected to the All Metro Lakes Conference 1st team. Selected honorable mention were Tyler Ames, Tyler Sherwood and Matt Lister.

State Tennis

Yesterday the CHS Girls' #2 Doubles team qualified for the State Tennis Tournament by placing 4th at Regionals! This includes my senior, Kalee Ball, and freshman, Katelyn Turner.
We leave for the State Tournament on Thursday this week and begin play Friday morning at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. -- Thanks, Michelle Sparks (Tues. 5/3/2011)

Collinsville Girls Tennis number 2 doubles team of Kalee Ball and Katelyn Turner are still alive in the State Tennis Tournament in OKC. They lost their 1st match to the 5th seed in the morning round but rebounded with a win in the 1st round of consolations. -- Jim Riley 5/6/2011 ~8pm
