CHS Softball Academic Recognition |
If you get the chance, would you add to the softball girls accomplishments that they got the "Distinguished Academic Achievement Award" They have a plaque in the new trophy case. Just thought this deserves to be mentioned. Thanks, |
Ted Note: I couldn't find an exact criteria for this academic achievement but determined that the 2014 CHS Cheer team was state champ by having the highest GPA and received the only 5A state trophy. The CHS Softball team received a plaque for a 2nd level team GPA that could include multiple teams. And the CHS Volleyball team received a certificate for their 3rd level team GPA. |
Per Missy DeLozier Facebook post (11/4/2014): The Lady Cardinal softball team received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for having a team GPA of 3.7 and ranking in the top 10% of their class. To qualify the team had to have a GPA of 3.5 or better. |
