"Now is the right time" to approve the proposed school capital improvements. -- Terry Due * Voters will decide Tuesday Oct. 8th, 2013. A slight property tax increase would result. * The school board and administrators have been patient for several years waiting for this "right time" ... economy has improved ... more of previous bonds have been paid off ... interest rates are still favorable ... the improvements are needed. * Going for more practical gym(s) ... instead of large arena considered earlier. |
