New CHS Girls Head Basketball Coach Kelly Clarke met with a room full of parents and basketball players Tuesday night (May 8,2012). Clarke and his wife and two daughters are house shopping in Collinsville while trying to finish up their school year in Yukon. Ted -- 8:30pm 5/8/2012
New girls basketball coach Kelly Clarke would like to announce that there will be a meeting for girls junior high basketball players, junior high parents and high school parents at the high school gym on Tuesday at 6 o'clock. When these two young men came cruising down Spring Street last Tuesday I had to use my cell phone to capture the moment as my regular camera was on the charger. Not sure I would have enough balance to pull it off, but could be a new mode of Collinsville transportation? -- Ted

I'm hoping she will still show up ... but my black cat has not made an appearance at my house today (south east of the middle school) and she's not normally one to stray very far or very long.
