& the band & the chorus
practiced this morning and are now ready for the real graduation ceremonies (& the crowd) tonight beginning at 7pm at the Reynolds Center on the TU campus in Tulsa.
-- from Tuesday morning May 15th

Thank you to the band for allowing me to ride along to practice and then the graduation ceremonies Tuesday.
I figure it had been about 43 years since I last rode "the band bus". -- Ted Wright -- CHS 1969 (May 2012)

Troy Swaffer, Mackanzie Sunday, & Callie Currier (who had passed away) were remembered by their classmates. Kody Compton is still hospitalized from an April 27, 2012, automobile accident. Austin Lankford (below) had been hospitalized until recently, but his treatment for leukemia have that in remission and he was able to attend and receive his diploma in person.
School Board: Lance West (Assistant Superintendent), Board Members: Memory Ostrander, Steve Stout, Donna Sears, Wendell Johnson, Jana Oder, and Superindentent Terry Due.
The 8 students standing above will be entering the military following their CHS graduation.
Austin Lankford, Logan Shaw and Tony Rodrock challenged many obstacles to "walk" across the graduation stage at TU Tuesday. Austin has battled leukemia in 2012. Logan and Tony have been wheelchair bound for years. Tony's twin brother Matt provided an assist.
