Shane Crossland (#5) got the Cardinal offense started with a lead off triple in the first inning.
Clay Beagles (#10) pitched to all but the final batter for the 6-4 win over Welsh here Saturday afternoon. Zach Guest (#12) manned 3rd base.
Chase Wilkins (#18) heads home (from 2nd) for the Cards second run in the first inning on a Gary Olivier single.
The outfielders struck a pose during a timeout. Left Field: Gary Oliver (#2), Center Field: Chase Wilkins (#18), and Right Field: Jacob Findley (#20).
Stanley Sallee (#8) beat the throw into 2nd base for a 2-RBI double in the 3rd inning.
The JV Cardinals circle around Coach Ben Davis between innings.
Ryan Young (#6) came in to pitch for the final out in the first 5-inning game Saturday.
