The JV Cardinals had already scored 2 runs and had the bases loaded when I arrived in the bottom half of the first inning Tuesday. They ended up with a 7-1 advantage after just 1 inning. -- Ted Wright

Hunter Rush (#5) was charging down the line at 3rd with Buchfink (#18) at the plate in the first inning. (Sorry the scorebook only had last names and I only got a few first names in my notes).
Fry (#1) lined this pitch for a 3-run double in the first inning.
Fry (#1) couldn't leap high enough to get this Bibxy hit to the wall in left as they tightened the score to 7-4 in the 2nd inning.
Dolton (#9) fouled this pitch back.
Braden Varner (#15) was pitching for Collinsville.
Shepley (#14) was catching and Cleveland (#20) was on first base defensively for the young Cardinals.
Braden Varner (#15) had a 9-8 lead in the 4th inning.
