The Collinsville Band Color Guard's new outfits made their debut on a rainy Friday night.
Drum Major Shelby Rasmussen
Shane Goossen (#21) broke up this Oologah pass in the endzone on 4th and 14 with 14.1 seconds left in the 3rd quarter.
Most of Friday's game was played in just a light mist but there were several minutes of rain in the 3rd quarter so I have few photos or notes as the two teams mostly traded punts for that quarter. Oologah's new artifical turf kept the playing surface player friendly even after steady rains most of the day Friday. -- Ted
Zane McElroy (#4) came in to quarterback the Cardinals with 8:49 left in the 4th quarter after Derek Iannapollo was injured. On his first play (above) Zane made an on target pass but it deflected off a reciver and was intercepted at the Card's 35.
Offensive lineman in two of the photos above: Matt Rogers (#64), David Roensch (63), Tucker George (#56), Bradley Peterson (#74), & Cole Keim (#67).
Dylan Dyer (#83) broke up this 4th quarter Oologah pass.
Zane McElroy (#4) was sacked back to the 15 on the Card's final drive with 42.1 left in regulation time
TJ Johnson (#6) scored on this 15 yard Zane McElroy pass with 31.3 second left in regulation to help extend the game
Ken Lor (#9) kicked the extra point to tie the game at 14-all after TJ's TD before the 4th quarter ended..
Zane McElroy (#4) kept from the 25 down to the 6 yard line on Collinsville's first play in overtime.
